TRAFFIX Wins a USPS Supplier Excellence Award

This summer, TRAFFIX’ Government Services team was presented with a United States Postal Service (USPS) “Supplier Excellence Award.” The ceremony occurred at the USPS’s Postal Supplier Council Annual Conference in Potomac, Maryland. Representatives from the team were on hand to accept the award, including Vice Presidents of Government Services, Jessica Hart and Tom Brandtner, and Managing Partners, Daniel Snow and Mark Southey. The Supplier Performance Awards Ceremony was presided over by esteemed leaders from USPS, including the 75th Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy and Vice President of Supply Management, Mark Guilfoil.

In early 2022, the United States Government purchased 500,000,000 COVID-19 rapid test kits to distribute via the USPS. The initiative was launched to mitigate the spread of the virus. The TRAFFIX Government Services team worked 24/7 between January and May to deliver over 255 million test kits to six USPS sites for final distribution. This work and superior service paved the way for TRAFFIX to receive the prestigious award.

Mark Guilfoil, Vice President of Supply Management at USPS shared:

“Today we are recognizing those suppliers that went beyond our expectations and demonstrated continuous improvement and delivered superior performance to the Postal Service. The focus that these suppliers have placed on performance, communication, innovation, and continuous improvement has been instrumental in helping the Postal Service deliver high-quality service to our customers.”

Guilfoil continued, “TRAFFIX quickly sent COVID-19 test kit volumes to our six origin sites. They demonstrated extraordinary contract performance by delivering timely service and exceptional performance on those contracts.”
