TRAFFIX CEO Chuck Snow's Guest Column in Truck 'N' Roll Magazine

By   |

TRAFFIX CEO Chuck Snow recently had the opportunity to pen a guest column for Truck ‘N’ Roll Magazine. His column was featured in the magazine’s June 2019 edition.

With 45 years of experience in the industry, Chuck shared his thoughts on the changing landscape of trucking. Today, trucks are larger, traffic is denser, drivers have to undergo more intense training, but the one thing that has not changed is the vital role trucking plays in North America’s economy. Trucks continue to carry the majority of goods around Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

Although change can be frightening, Chuck urges the industry to embrace it. “I do think that the trucking industry has a rosy future ahead of it. I don’t think that there is any reason for us to be threatened by the myriads of new technologies that are coming at us at 100 miles per hour. Whether it is autonomous trucks, hydrogen trucks or the latest in driver assist technologies, the winners of tomorrow are going to be those who are open minded and not afraid to adapt some of them.”

As TRAFFIX gets ready to celebrate its 40th anniversary on June 30th this year, we’re extremely proud to have been guided by Chuck these past years. He has always safely steered the company and we’re excited to drive into the future with him behind the wheel.
